Time & Temp: Frequently Asked Questions

Time & Temp is a tiny, owner-operated pastry shop at 337 Sandgate Road, Albion QLD 4010, Australia (under the "PASTRIES" sign). We serve viennoiserie and batch brew / filter coffee, walk-in only, Friday to Sunday, 7am to 12pm or until sold out.

Do you take bookings?

No bookings. You're welcome to DM us on Instagram to put stock aside. We also take special orders for pastries and cakes by DM, with a minimum of one week's notice.

What are your ingredients, and do you cater for allergies?

We bake from scratch with quality ingredients, as local as possible (often highlighted on Instagram). We always have vegan options (plant-based/dairy free/egg free), and some other allergies can be catered for. Unfortunately we are not equipped to produce gluten free products.

What's on the menu?

Croissants and cardamom buns (vegan btw) are always available, along with a rotating chocolate item, a fruit danish, and a couple of savouries. The rest changes as we have fun. The weekly menu is posted to our Instagram story. Our batch brew coffee changes daily, with a new roaster coming on every 2 to 3 weeks. It is served black with no additions, with a refreshing iced option for the warmer days.

Are cardamom buns always available?

Yes, every day until sold out. We can't say exactly when that is, but before 10:30am is usually safe.

How can I pay?

Card (no surcharge), cash, and bartering :)

Is the shop accessible? Are dogs welcome?

Yes, the shop is step-free with a wheelchair parking space directly in front. Dogs are welcome, cats are preferred.

Is there seating?

A little. We love people hanging out, but seating is limited, especially on hot days, so it's best to have a takeaway plan.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of free parking on-site and in the surrounding streets.

Can I bring my own cup? Do you sell coffee beans?

BYO cups are encouraged, or you can dine in with one of ours. Takeaway cups are available as a last resort. We sell coffee beans, and can even grind them for you and offer brewing advice.

Do you do wholesale or catering?

We don't do wholesale, but we welcome private orders for catering and events. Just DM us on Instagram.

Are you open on public holidays?

We generally open on public holidays that fall on our usual opening days (Friday to Sunday). Our Google listing and Instagram are always up to date with our latest opening days and hours.
